Sustainability & Traceability

Traceable Sourcing,Responsible Manufacturing

From cotton field to fashion, sustainability is built into how the business operates, not managed as a separate initiative, but embedded into sourcing, manufacturing, workforce systems, and governance.

Cotton Sourcing & Agricultural Programs

Four Programs, One Goal:Reliable Cotton Sourcing

Cotton sourcing is structured around long-term supply reliability, built on direct partnerships with farming communities rather than transactional purchasing. Four farm-level programmes, developed in partnership with Mahmood Group, give farmers access to certification training and improved agricultural practices that strengthen soil health and reduce reliance on chemical inputs over time. Beyond training, farmers gain access to better inputs and stronger market linkages, improvements that support both environmental outcomes and crop yield, creating a more stable and resilient cotton supply for the business and its partners.

Traceability

Traceability Built Intothe Supply Chain

MG Apparel tracks materials across its supply chain through a combination of internal systems and digital dashboards. An internal ERP system supports real-time monitoring of production, giving visibility into process and resource use at the factory level. This is paired with TextileGenesis, a digital traceability platform used to verify and document material origin and movement from farm to finished product.

Together, these systems are being expanded to link farm-level sourcing with downstream production, supporting the transparency global brands and regulators increasingly require, including digital product passports and enhanced supply chain disclosure.
